The 50th Annual Wilbur Suhre did not disappoint. The course was in the best shape it has ever been and the golfers’ performance was better than ever. Chris Brant established a new competitive course record with a first round 60(-11). He followed it up with a 66(-5) on Day 2 to secure an eight shot victory over perennial contender Corey Choate.

Tony Nolfo fired a 65(-6)-63(-8) to secure his first Senior title. Gary Brauns fired a second round 60(-11) but it was not enough to catch Nolfo.

Over 30 years of past champions played in the event to make the 50th the highest attended tournament in history with 184 players.

We are certain Wilbur would be proud of what this tournament has become and we cannot thank everyone involved enough for making it the best event yet.
